Apple Cider Vinegar for weight loss:
Is apple cider vinegar a weight loss drink?
Research suggests that few teaspoons of the vinegar mixed into a glass of warm water before each meal may help to reduce excess fat. This works in a number of ways. Firstly, Apple Cider Vinegar helps to boost the metabolism, which in turn burns more calories. The extra fibre contained in the apples also helps to give a feeling of fullness and reduces the appetite, with the additional potassium helping to flush out retained fluids. Apple Cider Vinegar generally helps the digestive system to assimilate nutrients more efficiently. This works best when combined with a healthy diet and consuming your essential 2 litres of pure water daily. On average people testify to losing approximately 2lbs a month by taking Apple Cider Vinegar, with no changes to their normal diet.
Can you drink neat Apple Cider Vinegar?
A question is often asked! Although some may prefer to consume the vinegar in its neat form this is not advisable. Caution must be taken not to let the vinegar remain in contact with the teeth due to its high acid content, which may damage enamel. After drinking the diluted vinegar through a straw, either brush the teeth or rinse the mouth in fresh water.
Why not try a facial steam clean over a bowl of hot water mixed with half a cup of Apple Cider Vinegar? Open your pours by leaning over a bowl of steaming water and a towel draped over the head. After five minutes, gently wipe the face with a cotton wool ball. Try this procedure once a week to remove deeply ingrained impurities and dead cells which cannot be removed through regular cleansing. This is a natural and effective deep cleanser which leaves your skin looking toned, radiant and fresh. The best thing about it is that it won’t cost you as much as expensive high street products.
Apple Cider Vinegar is excellent for adding shine to your hair. After shampooing simply rinse the hair with half a cup of vinegar mixed with 2 cups of warm water. The Vinegar will naturally remove the build-up of chemicals and residue caused by cosmetic shampoos and styling products, leaving blond hair shining and dark hair brightened. You will also notice that it will help with scalp conditions such as dandruff, as it kills the microorganism ‘bottle bacillus’ which is often at the root of the problem.
To alleviate sore throats:
The anti-bacterial properties of Apple Cider Vinegar can help to neutralise painful sore throat infections caused by viruses or bacteria. At the first sign of a sore throat gargle with 6-8oz of warm water, 1tps raw honey and 1-2tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar 2-4 times daily. Rinse out the mouth in fresh water after use to prevent the erosion of tooth enamel from the acids in the vinegar
Eases insect stings and bites:
Insect bites can be relieved by gently swabbing the affected area with a solution of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with corn starch. This solution helps to draw out fluid and decrease inflammation, having an instant cooling effect to relieve discomfort. It is also believed that a daily vinegar tonic will act as an insect repellent too!
Good for animals:
Apple Cider Vinegar can help animals and pets too. A pure and natural product, used as a probiotic helps to restore appetite, helps with skin conditions and improve fibre lustre. It is beneficial as a fly repellent, helping to keep flees, ticks and lice at bay. 1-2 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar diluted in a bowl of drinking water should be sufficient to maintain a healthy urinary and digestive system, as well as benefiting the overall health of your pet. For a more direct approach to treat flees and skin irritations try mixing equal parts Apple Cider Vinegar to water and putting it in a spray bottle. Spray directly on troublesome areas. The solution will relieve itching and increase the lustre of your pet’s coat.

What makes our Apple Cider Vinegar Special?
Wildcrafter Apple Cider Vinegar is both ‘raw’ and ‘pure’. Unlike most shop bought vinegar which has been pasteurised and filtered, our ACV is unpasturised and unfiltered.
So what’s the difference? Pasturised vinegar’ goes through a process which kills and removes the health-promoting living enzymes that float within the vinegar. Our vinegar contains the all-important ‘mother’ which rests on top of the liquid as it ferments in large oak barrels. The wooden barrels add to the ‘tartness’ and give the vinegar a better and higher quality flavor.
Another important factor these days is knowing where your produce comes from. Because of this we hand select and pick the best apples in prime condition from a local orchard. It is essential for us to know that the apples have never been sprayed with harmful chemicals or pesticides. We also guarantee that at no time are preservatives added to the product. So it is true to say that our Apple Cider Vinegar is raw and pure and fully loaded with goodness.
